The 28th Genesis Annual Luncheon, featuring keynote speaker and Academy Award-winner Octavia Spencer, is one week away! Ticket sales for the virtual event will close Monday morning at 8:00 a.m., and we hope to see you there! If you’re unable to join us May 7th at 11:00 a.m. when the program first airs, all ticket purchases include the option to stream the event over the following 48 hours for watching at your convenience.

The Genesis Annual Luncheon has enjoyed phenomenal speakers over the years, including Nicole Kidman, Terry Crews, Hilary Swank and more, and we are ecstatic to add Octavia Spencer to this outstanding roster. Genesis CEO Jan Langbein will join Octavia to discuss some of her most iconic roles, such as Minny Jackson in The Help and Dorothy Vaughan in Hidden Figures.
Also highlighted in our program are this year’s two Luncheon award recipients. Najah Clay, Miss Black Texas International Ambassador and former squad leader in the US Army, accepts the Jane Doe Award for her commitment to standing alongside survivors. Kevin Lillis, founder of the Hospitality Coalition Against Domestic Violence, is honored with our 2021 HeRO Award for using his voice and influence to take a public stand against abuse. Tune in on the 7th to learn more about these exceptional individuals and the passion that drives them.
