How do I modify or cancel my recurring donation?
To adjust your donation amount or to stop future donations from being withdrawn, please email Kari Presswood-Perlman, Director of Fund Management, at kpresswood@genesisshelter.org
How do I update my payment information?
If your credit card information has changed, please call Kari Presswood-Perlman at 214.389.7767 or visit our Heart-to-Heart website and complete the form fill as if you were doing so for the first time, entering your new payment information to create a new monthly gift.
My mailing address or email address has changed. How do I update my contact information?
Please email Kari Presswood-Perlman at kpresswood@genesisshelter.org with your updated contact information.
Neither the 3rd, the 15th, the 24th, or the 30th is a good day for my donation to be processed. Can I choose another day?
Yes! Please call Kari Presswood-Perlman at 214.389.7767 to sign up and select the best day for you.
I’m not in a position to give $50/month. What does the “Your Choice” option mean?
The “Your Choice” option is an opportunity for you to contribute what makes sense for you and your unique financial situation. Even a monthly $5 donation helps our clients take their first step toward help, hope and healing.
I’m not in a position to give every month. Can I give every other month or quarterly?
Yes, you can give on any schedule you’d like! Please call Kari Presswood-Perlman at 214.389.7767 to sign up and select your donation schedule.
What does it mean to cover the credit card processing fees?
Even though Genesis is a nonprofit, we still pay credit card processing fees of 2.598% + $0.26 on each transaction. While this is a competitive industry rate, these fees still add up. You can cover the processing fees of your donation so that 100% of your gift goes directly to Genesis clients each month!
How will I get my receipt each month? Can I get a yearly statement?
Heart-to-Heart members receive monthly thank-you letters, which serve as your contribution receipts for IRS purposes. If you’d like a receipt that lists all of your donations from one calendar year, please email Alissa Lindsey at kpresswood@genesisshelter.org
Can I still be a Heart-to-Heart member if I give by check each month?
Yes! Please download our Heart-to-Heart commitment form, fill it out and send it to Kari Presswood-Perlman at kpresswood@genesisshelter.org to sign up.
