Founded in 1997, the Genesis Alliance is composed of over 600 women who support the mission of Genesis Women's Shelter to end family violence. The Genesis Alliance takes part in volunteering, education and community awareness to help us reach a larger audience in the greater Dallas area. Through hosting educational events, donation drives, and supporting special events, these members serve as ambassadors in the community and make our mission possible at no cost to clients.
The Alliance brings women together to help other women find a safe way out to the life they deserve. It takes all of us working together to make a difference.

- An Active Membership donation covers the cost of an Alliance membership for an entire year.
- A Patron Member donation is the same as an Active Member, with an additional monetary donation. The added contribution is used to provide life-changing services to the 2,500 women and children who rely on Genesis each year.
