Genesis is on a mission to serve every woman and child who needs shelter, safety and support when experiencing domestic violence. With the construction of the new Genesis Outreach Center for Non-Residential Services, you can help women and children in our community access no-cost domestic violence services close to home.

Planning of our new facility includes the installment of a bike rack that will encourage visitors, clients and staff to choose an eco-friendly transportation option when visiting Genesis. Your support will underwrite the cost of the bike rack now, and improve quality of life into the future through greater access to the Genesis continuum of care for domestic violence AND by making our community healthier by reducing some of the transportation-related affects to our environment.

The new Genesis Outreach Center for Non-Residential Services is under construction, with a planned opening in 2022. Our hope is to have the bike rack fully underwritten by the cycling community by December 2021. If we can meet that milestone, we will also raise additional funds to underwrite the shower facility in the center that will support hygiene needs of cyclists who visit Genesis. The total cost for these two initiatives is $10,000.
