WHO IS GENESIS?
Genesis Women’s Shelter is a Dallas-based non-profit with the goal of ending domestic violence. Our mission is to provide safety, shelter and support for women and children who have experienced domestic violence, and to raise awareness regarding its cause, prevalence and impact. We are looking to create a societal shift on how people think about domestic violence.
Who are genesis Heros?
Our men’s group HeROs (He Respects Others) are positive male role models that host events to create safer communities and become part of the solution.
What is Jamfest?
The 2023 inaugural Genesis Jamfest is a first of its kind concert experience presented by Genesis HeROs that raises critical funds benefitting Genesis Women’s Shelter & Support operations. Through the generosity support of this event, we can continue providing life-saving services and resources to women and children seeking an escape from domestic violence.
