Lecture Series Digital Invite Part 4-04

Lecture Series Part 4

So many women will stay with their abuser because of her fear of her community's expectations and social systems. Will she lose her children? Will she be deported? Will she be alone in the courtroom? What will her faith community think? Join this discussion with Natalie Nanasi, Associate Professor of the SMU Dedman School of Law and others, as we dissect how each of these systems can often unintentionally act as the abuser's ally and how we can create a positive impact in our court system, in our faith communities and beyond.
