Information Technology Coordinator
Description:Genesis Women's Shelter, serving battered women and their children, located in Dallas, Texas, is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as the information technology coordinator. The following are the necessary components of the Information Technology Coordinator. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
▪ Responsible for the Management and Operations of the agency's IT Infrastructure and Support Services. ▪ Have the ability to directly communicate all IT concerns, budgets, and future planning to upper management. ▪ Maintain an Apple Xserve running 10.3 - 10.5 handling over 60 users and email addresses. ▪ Provide technical support for all hardware and software used by over 60+ networked users at three agency locations. ▪ Direct line of contact for vendors on all IT related purchases and repair. ▪ Maintain and troubleshoot all agency connectivity including; DS1, PTP, T1, and PRI. ▪ Setup and troubleshoot Adtran 3205 routers in conjunction with supplied routers from connectivity vendor. ▪ Design and implement a network security plan that includes VPN and firewall configuration. ▪ Review server logs for all server and network devices. ▪ Manage The Raiser's Edge in a hosted Citrix environment. ▪ Provide ongoing support for 60+ VOIP phones and IWATSU PBX system.
Genesis is primarily an Apple OS X based network with a small Microsoft Windows presence.
The qualifications for the position are as follows: College degree in Computer Science or Information Systems; 2-5 Years experience in supporting Apple and Microsoft based desktops and servers; Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; Ability to work independently; Ability to adapt to quickly changing schedules, priorities, and deadlines; Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users and vice versa. Must be a Texas licensed and insurable driver; Must pass a background check and drug screening; Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding client/agency information

Administrative Assistant
Genesis Women's Shelter is seeking to hire a full-time bi-lingual administrative assistant for the Emergency Shelter Program. Genesis serves women and their children who are escaping an emotionally and/or physically abusive relationship. This candidate must be highly organized, dedicated, detail orientated, dependable, self-motivated individual, and friendly, with strong written and oral communication skills. Be proficient in computer skills, possess excellent writing and telephone skills and be able to multi-task and meet deadlines. Must work well under pressure and interact professionally with a wide variety of board members, employees, clients, and volunteers. Salary with excellent benefits. Outreach Therapist Position (two positions avaliable) Genesis Women's Shelter is seeking to hire 2 full-time therapists for our Outreach offices. Genesis serves women and their children who are affected by a domestic violence relationship. A successful candidate will have a master's degree in counseling or social work, who is actively working to fulfill or has fulfilled the requirements for advanced clinical licensure (LPC or LCSW). A candidate will preferably have education, training, and experience in play therapy with children , some experience with adolescents, and some experience with adults. A candidate will have crisis management skills and some understanding of mental health issues, diagnoses, and psychotropic medications. The candidate will have a strong theoretical background, as well as experience in or interest in the field of domestic violence and sexual assault recovery. Free, on-site supervision for LPC Interns, LMSWs, and RPT candidates is provided weekly.
